Less than two years ago I began my journey into the world of photography. Since I was a child all I spent my money on was cameras and film. Now as an adult all I spend money on is cameras and photo gear, so not much has changed.
I can’t believe how much I have learned in 2 years and where I am today. On June 21st I graduated from Niagara College with a diploma in Digital Photography…I went from being a student photographer to a professional photographer. Words cannot describe how much I love my friends and teachers. I was terrified to walk across that stage and get my diploma, but on the other side all my teachers were lined up waiting to congratulate myself and the others, all my fears went away. No other teachers did this for their graduating classes that day. No other teachers gave each of their students a rose. No other students gathered in the courtyard and took group photos with their kids. Our teachers are like no other.
Grace Smith, Stephen Dominick, Scott Kenney, Rob Nowell, David Ferretti, Mike Visser and Greg Danbrooke. Your second graduating class owe everything to you. Our experiences in the studio, up in a helicopter, in New York and most of all our future experiences in photography were all made possible by you!
